Surface modification of polypropylene nonwoven with chitosan, TiO$_{2}$, and Ag nanoparticles for the removal of acid dye from water

In this study, polypropylene nonwoven was coated with chitosan after being activated by oxygen/argon low-pressure plasma. The chitosan-treated sample (PP-Ch) TiO$_{2}$ nanoparticles a pad-dry method. Silver were in situ synthesized on the chitosan-TiO$_{2}$-coated chemical reduction morphology of each samples mentioned above evaluated FESEM. efficiency removal C.I. Acid Brown 248 from aqueous media evaluated. PP-Ch removed 90% dye at pH=3. Coating and silver improved under UV irradiation.
